Whew! Just when you think the hard part is over, then you realize...you have to take this baby home with you! While those first 12 weeks of your new baby's life are wonderful and exhilarating, they're also exhausting and overwhelming. "Make sure you rest and eat!" they say, as you juggle clothing and diapering a tiny human + trying to establish feeding + bathing and rocking and cleaning, all on little to no sleep...
Enter your postpartum doula (aka your new favorite person). As a postpartum doula, my role is to help you in the immediate postpartum period. From holding the baby so you can take a shower and helping you figure out feeding to doing the laundry and cooking meals, I absolutely love to serve postpartum women so that they can truly rest and enjoy this incredible period of motherhood.

Birth is tough! It's physically and mentally demanding and requires rest, but that can be hard to come by with a new baby. As a postpartum doula, my job is to take care of you so you can take care of your baby.
I'll be your motherhood mentor, teaching you all the newborn things like cord care and swaddling and bathing, giving you the confidence that you won't break your baby and that you're an amazing mama!
Already a newborn pro? I'll tackle the laundry and keep your other kiddos out of your hair so you can rest and bond.
Having a newborn can be overwhelming with the specialized care needed! I can help you with many of the basic newborn care tasks including:
No matter how you choose to feed your baby, I can assist you as both a breastfeeding educator and formula educator! If you are experiencing difficulties with breastfeeding, I can offer advice and support as well as connect you with local lactation specialists.
Possibly the most crucial need! If you desire sleep support during my time as your postpartum doula, I can assist you by sharing tips and tricks for getting rest during this time as well as hold the baby for you so you can take a nap.
Just want to bond with your baby but the house looks like a bomb went off and it's stressing you out? I've got you! I'll cook and/or coordinate deliveries and meal trains as well as take care of simple household tasks such as:
Trust me, those things are not intuitive! I'll teach you how to get your baby wrapped in the perfect swaddle and how to safely wrap a baby in a baby carrier.
Have other children but want to spend time relishing your newborn? I'll play with your other children and support your husband in whatever he might need so you can rest and bond.
STEP ONE: MEET WITH ME
BOOK BEFORE 7 MONTHS PREGNANT
During your initial consult, we'll pray, get to know each other, and discuss how pregnancy is going.
Skip to step 2 if you are a coaching or doula client!
STEP TWO: CREATE POSTPARTUM PLAN
BOOK BEFORE 8 MONTHS PREGNANT
We'll meet again for 1.5-2 hours to help you plan for postpartum, figure out your wishes and needs, and put them into an easy-to-read plan!
STEP THREE: I COME HELP!
12 Hours of Support Per Week
Once your little blessing arrives, I will come on the dates and times arranged to help you with all the postpartum things so you can rest, recuperate, and bond!
Your postpartum doula care with me begins before your baby is even born! We'll meet once for an initial consult, followed by an extensive postpartum planning meeting (which is SO helpful, because postpartum planning is so often overlooked!).
Then, once your baby has arrived, I'll show up at the days and times we've established and be the quiet, helpful presence you crave even more than you did pickles in the first trimester.
Postpartum doula care is $300 for the initial consult + a postpartum planning session, and then $500 per week for 12 hours of postpartum doula care (additional hours available at $44 per hour). We'll work together to create a custom plan that serves your unique family's needs!
LET'S DOULA THIS!
"She helped with my small child. Provide useful practical tools. Helped with baby, light cleaning etc. and was supportive to me. Nicole is a caring and dedicated mother and professional. I would recommend her without reservation." - Michelle
As a Catholic postpartum doula, I like to see myself as the Mary to your Elizabeth, bringing the light of Christ to you and helping you glorify God through the wonderful gift of your motherhood.
So in addition to serving your physical needs, I will also pray with you, listen to you, and affirm you in your God-given dignity. I'll cheer you on in the difficult moments and remind you of the gifts He's given you to mother this unique child. Postpartum can be an isolating and challenging time, but my goal is to help center you on Him so you have a wonderful and peaceful start to this incredible vocation.
